Seven steps from enrolment to your first day on campus.

Step by step

  1. 1. Check whether you need a visa

    Citizens of CIS countries except Turkmenistan need no visa.

  2. 2. Get the invitation

    The university requests the invitation from the Ministry of Internal Affairs after the enrolment order — 20–30 days.

  3. 3. Apply at the consulate

    Passport, invitation, form, photo, an HIV test certificate.

  4. 4. Arrive

    The nearest airport is Kazan, 40 minutes to Innopolis. We meet first-year students in the last week of August.

  5. 5. Register with migration

    Within seven working days of arrival — the international office does it for you.

  6. 6. Have a medical check-up

    Within 90 days, at the campus medical centre.

  7. 7. Extend the visa

    The first visa is issued for 90 days; the international office extends it for a year.
